Though we stick to the written word for the most part, sometimes nothing beats a video for getting your point across — so here’s one of the best we’ve seen in a while. It’s from construction firm PERI Formwork Systems, working with DPR Construction, describing some of the specific challenges of building the Block 71 / Indeed Tower office project in the heart of downtown Austin:
Along with its great footage of the ongoing work taking place at the tower site, this video helps you begin to understand the kind of effort that goes into raising a building of this size in the heart of a busy downtown area. It’s perhaps a little jargon-heavy for general audiences, but if you’re reading this site you’ve probably already got more patience than the average bear, so give it a whirl — you might learn something!
